DEMONSTRATIONS erupted at the bail hearing of a Zimbabwean suspected serial killer of seven women he allegedly lured via social media for fake employment opportunities.
Themba Prince Willard Dube, 36, was arrested for possession of a stolen mobile phone when later discovered he could in fact be a serial killer responsible for the deaths of at least seven women.
Angry South Africans gathered at his trial court where Dube is said to have been kept in custody for his safety.

Police say he robbed, raped and killed the victims whose bodies were discovered in wooded areas in Seshego, Polokwane, Mankweng and Westernburg in Limpopo Province bordering Zimbabwe.
The killings were allegedly committed between August and October.
Dube was arrested for possession of a stolen mobile phone.
People baying for his blood sang outside the courts where they hoped he would be granted bail and face Street justice.
He is being charged with murder, rape, defeating the ends of justice and robbery.
Some relatives of the slain women were in court hoping for a mob justice home for work in Polokwane on October 18.
He is alleged to have called relatives of one of his victims demanding ransom.
The matter was postponed to January 27, 2022.
